My name is Lucas Brouwers. Most blog posts I write here will concern evolution somehow, which is the one topic that fascinates me to no end. My background allows me to explore evolution through bioinformatics or molecular biology, though I won’t eschew writing about other fields of science that that contribute to our understanding of life’s history on this planet (please call me out on any mistakes I might make while doing so!). I recently obtained my MSc degree after following the Molecular Mechanisms of Disease programme in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Science is amazing and I love writing about science. I hope to find a job that allows me to convince others of the awesomeness of evolution.
Besides evolution, I’m an avid lover of music, ranging from indie dance to good ol’ folk music. Bicycle racing is another one of my favorite ways to spend the time.
